Title: Clutch grrrrrrr....ind
Post by: The Buddha on April 15, 2004, 10:14:45 AM
Its not a GS but maybe clutch in general have some reason why they do this... Usually its only the first time in the day, and even then only when its launched harder than gentle... and after 1 time it goes away. It grinds just as the bike begins to move. Why. Its on my 750 vulcan if that matters.
Cool.
Srinath.

Could be that the oil is being squeezed out from between the plates when it sits overnight.  After first use, it would be freshly re-oiled and ready to go!

Yep, I would agree, a cold clutch needs to be warmed up.
