Title: Hotter Plugs
Post by: jake42 on April 16, 2004, 07:43:00 AM
Anyone out there got the number for one step hotter than normal NGK's.

Right now I'm running the standards. DPR 8EA 9.

Are hotter's just one number lower?

thanks

jake

I believe a hotter plug will be dpr7ea-9, correct me If I am wrong guys.... Buy bosch platinums in that. Not platinum+4's or crap like that.

Yep, it's the DPR7EA9 to go hotter.  See http://www.specialgreen.com/~bcarlson/gs500/part-numbers/sparkplugs.html

Or, to look at it the other way around (ambient conditions rather than spark plug heat range) see my post in the thread
