Title: Suzuki GS500F Invoice Price
Post by: longhorn44 on April 16, 2004, 07:51:49 PM
GSers,

I recently bought a GS500F and wanted to share the extensive research I've done.  After leaving the dealership thinking I got a great deal, I realize I could have bargained harder but the GS just looked too tempting and I was weak.

Basically, I got the GS for $5,250 "ride out."  Here's the research.

I found out that the GS 500 F's invoice price is $4,315.  The dealer also gets a 3% of $4,315 incentive/rebate for selling this bike which is payable in September.  Adding to that, I live in Texas and the TT&L came out to be around $400.  Hopefully, with this information, you can figure out how much you want to "pay" the dealer.

Best of luck bargaining for those of you wanting that new GS.

I got mine for about $3700 "ride out" after my trade in of $1500. They were selling the bike for $4999, gave it to me for $4750 for being the first one to purchase one, plus didn't charge me freight and set-up which is another $300 or so. So, So after taxes and whatever other junk Washington likes to put on bikes, that's what I got.
