That my friend, was simply fantastic!
Of course I dont think its too loud at all. Id love to see a pic of what this thing look like witht he straight pipe. Damn, its sounds badass! I think my GS is getting a straight pipe next week. Can you tell me what you did?

well the only reason i have a straight pipe is because the weld where the canister was welded broke....

basicly i just cut the stock muffler right where the weld was...then added a slightly bent pipe so i could fit the gsxr canister...now the pipe i added is still on the bike but just goes up to the passenger right foot peg...

Cool sound clip.

Once you take off that restrictive stock muffler, the bike becomes a whole other animal.

Suggestion (from someone who knows).  Play around with settings.  Consider upping quality.  Th sound clip is too compressed and thus sounds all phased and unrealistic.  It would be better if you made a smaller clip but at higher quality.

You can make a mpg sound clip (no vid) with most vid maker software.  This might be another thing to look into.

i know this post is year old already lol, but i had an idea,

what would happen if i cut my muffler off, and cut off the pipe at the fairing on my F model. I love the sound, would that be bad? LOL.

I remember a while back I heard one of your bike with the GSXR can on it and it was sweet, way better then that one.

And I thought it was just my tinny PC speakers that made it sound crap.  It's prolly that too.

Sounds cool...but then I always thought balloons in my bicycle spokes sounded bad to the bone. Does anybody else remember the handle operated "engines" that you could get for bicycles in the '60's? There was a handle that you moved back and forth to produce the sound and a button which was used to change the pitch. They were pretty neat. But not as neat or as bad as an open-piped baby GS...Gawd I love this forum.
