Title: DeVry University
Post by: john on April 19, 2004, 08:44:32 PM
Any good?  Applied to Phoenix location.  Anyone know anything about it?  Now I just wait for the report on my transfer credits then have all summer to decide.

This makes two colleges.  I need to apply to a couple more.

i was actualy signed up to go there but joined the AirForce instead ha ha, who knows why.  But one of my best friends is going there and he loves it!!! They cram you full of information to get your degree in the shortest time possible.    I'll prolly take some classes from them in a couple months.

Have heard nothing but good things about DeVry.

Depends on what your interest of study is. Devry is a technical school and probably (not 100% sure) non-accredited school, which means the credits may or may not transfer to a University or other accredited school.   I do not know anything other than that.
So what are you interested in studying?

Dont sell yourself short by attending a technical school instead of a full university.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that I swear. I have just known people that went to a school such as that then later wanted to transfer but couldn't that's all.  But by all means, there is NOT a problem with going to technical college or college or any school. Please go and get educated!  I am a student teacher, so I highly encourage furthering ones education. Sorry about that, please don't take offense to that.

Thanks
