I am not shure what you are trying to say about a LEO in the back yard. Maybe it is a saying ? The only thing i got is a dog in the back yard :-)

Are you becoming a law enforcement officer or are you applying for a motorcycle license?

Sorry if its a silly question, but when I read your post I thought you had passed the US equivalent of the written test to get a motorcycle license.

I am applying for a motorcycle license. What i was trying to say, the law in Denmark says that you have to take (not 24) 26 theori lessons with a theori examine. And 22 driving lessons with a driving examine.

The driving is 4 lessons on a closed mini track, 13 lessons on the road and to the last 5 lessons on a real test track.

A lessons here in Denamark i 45 minuts.

The police in Denmark is the one who helds the examine.

Don't worry about your english...we got it now, though I will admit I was a bit confused also.

...and just when I thought we'd get another LEO on the board...

Oh no.  A LEO in our midst

Remember.  As a member of GStwin you agree to get me out of jail/ticket in the state that you work.

Sorry those are the rules.

It varies a bit from state to state, but in general its usually along these lines:

1) Written test (1 to 2 pages in length, took me about 10 minutes to finish)
2) Driving test (usually a small course around some cones in a parking lot, takes about 10-20 minutes depending on the rider)
3) Various fees for license and testing. Mine was $15 for learners permit and written section, and $26 to re-issue an existing drivers license to include the motorcycle license.

It is WAY different in the states than most European countries. It is way too easy in my opinion, but thats another story.

Congrats on passing the first section of yours.    :)
