ok what is the trick to getting the damn air box out?

Start with the gas tank...

Loosen up all the screws (one on each boot to the carb and one on each side in the frame) wiggle it and ka'ching.

like they said ^, move gas tank out of the way, loosen screws around boots, wiggle them off carb, or use a lever if necessary. the pull up and toward rear :thumb: :? oh yeah, helps to remove filter. it gives you a place to grab on to. :dunno:

also rememeber the hose that connects to the bottom of the air box. i was having major trouble removing teh air box until i realized i hadn't removed that bottom hose, then with just a little wiggling, and hard pulling it popped right out.
