Title: My GS dies at the worst times, what's going on?
Post by: GStim on April 22, 2004, 08:33:34 PM
I've had my 1996 GS for a couple months now (it's got about 16k on it) and I have just recently started taking some longer rides on it.  Twice now I have been riding and after about an hour or two the engine will all of a sudden cut off.  So I pull over to the side of the road and fiddle with just about everything I can think of to get the thing started (choke, fuel, etc.).  Then, usually after 5-10 minutes it will just start up and run fine as if nothing had happened.

Any ideas what my problem may be?

Check out this thread from a couple days ago.  You're not the first person to have this happen, but everyone's experience seems to be a little bit different.
