i have a vague idea of what a streetfigher is. i know i may be showing my dorkyness here but can somebody tell me excatly what it takes for a bike to be a streetfigher. i could use a little knowledge on this style of bike. show me pics if anyone has some too. i think i may be streetfightering my bike without even knowning it. kick a little knowledge my way and hook a pretty fly white guy up. :dunno:
A streetfighter concept originated in Europe where hooligan rider would strip all the plastic off sportbikes (usually due to a crash), and fit after-market headlights, turn signals etc. Think high-performance naked sportbike.
The streetfighter concept has caught on with the general public as well. Factories has started producing from the factory streetfighter style bikes, for example:
Buell XB9S
Triumph Speed Triple
Ducati Monster 900
Kawasaki ZRX1200R
Hey dude,
don't feel to bad, I dont get the concept of squids and all that. Not a term used here in the south. but glad you know what streetfighter means now.
