This was at Willow Springs I believe.
What's with the UFO flying shotgun?
Or, is that Bob's Photograph Countermeasures, protecting his secret Crankcase Ventilation Power Scavenger?
nice pic :thumb: ,
UFO is a little strange, but non the less its a NICE PIC.

wow, that pic is both awesome and my new desktop.
I just KNEW it was possible to power wheelie a GS500! I will not be spending the kind of money I'm sure Bob did, so mine will probably never do that. But that is a cool pic for sure! You go Bob!
My new desktop as well.
FTR, it's an excellent photo composition.
I was wondering when we would see that pic...
)Thats an awesome shot! :thumb:
Hey Bob, need any pit help one of these weekends?
(assuming I can find your pit  )
Bob is seriously the man. Just look at that GS. I would go so far as to say, its the nicest GS on the forum.
great picture, even better wheelie :)
Great shot , Manjul :thumb:
I spotted the GStwin.com sticker prominently displayed. Is there a contingency sponsorship plan for racers?

The deal is that if you race, you get a free
gstwin.com decal. At least thats what I seem to remember from an old post a long time ago and far, far away. I searched for it, but can't find it. (Remember: the decal adds 10hp, so it is very valuble ;) )
Also, I would second the motion for the nicest bike on the forum. Kicks sooo much ass :thumb:
That picture is at Buttonwillow raceway.
When you come over the top of turn 4, you come down into another right hand kink. You straighten out and go over a hump in the straight up to turn 5.
I could see the photographer standing there waiting. I was so far in the lead I started doing wheelies over the hump. Probably doing about 90 mph at this point.
We got rained out at Sears Point this month. But I'll be back at Sears Point on May 29/30. Saturday (29th) is practice day. Sunday (30th) is race day.
Looking forward to seeing some of you. JUST REMEMBER LOOK FOR BIKE #23. I'll have my racebike and my 89 GS backup bike. Both with the number 23. 23. 23. 23.
That really is a terrific picture. Hey good_guy, any chance you could run the original through a scanner for better quality?

Yes! Yes! Yes! Bob could you do that please! I really want to download that photo for my desktop! It is an awesome photo! And an awesome powerwheelie!
I have it on mine already - it's pretty damn sharp as it is.
Hey Bob, do you ever venture out to the East Coast?
Something about that swingarm gives me jolly-jollies!
Ain't much stock about that bike! Even the motor looks like it's from another planet....very tasty indeed!
That pick rocks.
What is that thing coming down off the head? I'm not talking about the oil cooler. It's the thing coming off the head that's silver. Looks kinda like a vibration damper on the older triumphs if i remember correctly.
