Hi folks,
I haven't heard many bikes to compare to so I'm not sure the severity of this vibration sound and I'm not the best mechanic either.
The sound is produced after warmed up and at idle but only after being revved up and the revs are coming back down. I'm not sure of exactly where the sound is coming from except that it sounds like it's from the engine. I would like to quote my bike as saying "vrrrooom.. trail off.. <insert ugly vibration noise here>"

Well after tightening bolts left right and center I discovered that it's the center stand meeting up with the exhaust.
It's bare metal to metal contact so I was wondering if there originally anything in between these two like rubber/plastic/moss/a sandwich.
Any original ideas would be put to use.
p.s. It just snowed here in Winnipeg. :x
You could probably attach a piece of rubber to the point of contact. Or, install a stronger spring to hold the stand tighter. The only noise my center stand makes is a metal to metal sqeek as I lean it onto the side stand.
Yes, there should be a barrel shaped rubber piece, about an inch long, mounted on the stock exhaust that stops the right foot of the centerstand.
Electrical tape? Utilize a chair foot (the kind that screws into the bottom of the chair leg)?
