Title: I know V&H doesn't make the ignition advancer anymo
Post by: jakers the 1 on May 07, 2004, 04:30:38 PM
does the DIY timing advance have the same effect or are they different subjects, also, if they are different, does anyone know if it might just be carb. calibration to take care of it? :?  :?  :?

The do it yourself timing advance will do the same thing as the V&H advancer. But it depends on the rotor your bike has.
If the numbers on the rotor are 5-35, then you won't get the full advance as the V&H. If you have a 12-28 rotor it will equal the V&H advancer.

You can send your rotor to me and I'll make it into an advancer.
