Title: pod filter and jets
Post by: ekim on May 11, 2004, 03:55:59 PM
I was thinking about installing a k&n pod filter on my 01 gs. With the stock exhaust, what jets and needle settings should I use? Is this worth doing with the stock can?
Thanks

With a pod filter and no exhaust I would bump the pilot (bleeder)up one to a 20, the mid from a 60 to a 62.5 and the main up two sizes - 135 I think.  All jets are small round slotted mikuni.  You may not need to mess with the needle height.  Drill out the brass plugs and play with the air mixture screws-
