I am in this position as well ... I need a tank, chain adjuster, handle bars ( might get em from srinath but he only has the 01+ one which might be too aggressive for me) ... What other gauge set up will work on the 97 GS500? For the lights and gauges if it is cheap and possible I dont wanna go stock ... Anyone know where I can get the dual head lamps for the GS? and also I want different mirrors ... if y'all cn post up cool aftermaret parts thatare cheap ...If they are not cheap will prolly have to go stock.

I have dual headlights (buell) and aftermarket mirrors, among others. Take a look.

Depends on what you want to spend. The Buells were $60. Thats probably the cheapest you'll find without some special deal.

Anitbody's setup is probably one of best bar-none, but he also fabricated his own barkets which is a difficult task for people like me whom do not have access to a shop or metal know-how.  I think wildhairaccessories.com has a dual light setup at a reasonable low low price of under 3 bills, DON'T QUOTE me on that!, but check it out.
