Title: Help - Micrometer or Dial Caliper Sources ? ? ?

Checker Auto Parts doesn't have 'em. Where can they be found? And, what will they cost ? Gotta have it for the valve adjustment.

harbor freight has a nice digital
usually on sale for about $20
it does standard and metric

Thanks much. Great Link. Good Prices. Saved it. They don't indicate the micrometer measures metric. Do you have to convert, or does it measure metric also? They also have dial calipers. Which are the best to use?

FYI Only.  

Google is a calculator.  And a bunch of other things.

Examples. Enter the following into the google search field to convert inches to millimeters or visa versa.

.002 inches in millimeters
.03 millimeters in inches

or a math problem:

2 * 2

Also, Sears has a micrometer for $19.95 or $16.95 (I think) on the web site.
