Well, today I helped the new owner load her on his trailer and I saw her leaving. It was a little sad, but at least I know she's in good hands.

I just wanted to thank everyone here, first of all our commander in chief and (sometimes) benevolent administrator, for all the help and pleasant conversations I have had on this board. I have joined the old board the day after I bought her over three years ago, and have been checking it almost daily ever since. By far, this is the most polite, respectful and helpful bunch of riders I have seen. Good luck to you all.

My web page with howtos and pictorials, including the rejetting info and the invaluable ghetto radar detector mount, will stay for as long as I can keep it there, even though I will not be updating it anylonger. Thanks for everything, Mike - especially the "ghetto mount". One of these days I'll have to get myself a GPS unit, and when I do....

Thanks also for the "master link" to your How-To pages. I need to not-so-accidentally check my swing arm bearings soon.

Do you have another ride, or is this "goodbye to bikes" for a while?

Hi Kerry,

I have had an FZR600 for some time now, and that one stays. I'll miss your detailed explanations with pictures for sure. I hope some day you'll buy an FZR too :) In the meantime, I'll keep checking your web site for your write-up on your trip to India (no pressure, of course ;) )

Hey man, I don't think I did/had many conversations with you, but I will say that I am sorry to see your GS go. Good luck in the future, and you should check in from time-to-time even if it is just to say "Hello". Take care and enjoy your FZR.
