Title: Lights, camera action
Post by: GRU on May 14, 2004, 02:50:55 PM
all i can say is, gsxr headlights look a whole lot better on a gsxr than on a GS

i'm still happy i put them on but they look too big on the little GS

When we were kids my older brother and I used the term "buggle-eyed roach" (inside joke) for stuff like this.

But I agree - it looks cool!

No offense, but I am with Kerry.  The lights seem a little to big.  The Bulles lights seem to look the best just my 2 cents worth.

just some friendly advice about bike astectics, the lights are ok, will look 10x better if you install some lockhart phillips diamond short stalk blinkers. your front end looks to damn wide the stock blinkers. just for test purposes remove your front turn signals and see how much it cleans up the front end, with short stalks on your bike it will bring the twin headlights into a better overall proportion in the front.

Hey, GRU!  I dig them just as they are.  Way cool.

Love the white rims, too.

thats what im saying the headlights are good, but since they are paired with the stock front signal stocks the front end proportion has been thrown outta wake, go with some lockhart phillips short stalks only $15 a pair, no modifying necessary!!

try that test that i told you about, remove your stalks and see how better the lights look.  they look street fighterish on a slimer not wider front profile. with smaller stalks your front profile will change greatly.

i like them very much, but the exhaust is little to long if you ask me and so are the turning signals

look's like i'll be puting the old headlight back....for a couple of reasons

the light's look very weird from the side
they are just a little too big for my taste
the damn wires are exposed ( i had no idea there were so many wires)
if i decide to sell the bike, i don't think the buyer would like my "custom" work
