So I went on ride to see my cousins. Well when we were leaving I decided to give them a little something to look at. So I slowly rolled into some dirt. I dropped the clutch to kick up some dirt but I hi the gas a little harder than I wanted to and dropped the clutch kinda fast. So immediately the rear tire went into a slide which was expected, but it wasn't supposed to slide as much as it did. Th bike was at like a 40 degree angle but the front wheel was straight and I was looking straight into their yard. Just as it started to feel like it was about to go down I hit pavement and it corrected itself. Scared the s**t outta me............but I loved every second of it. Just thought I'd share the highlight of my weekend. That same day I broke my record of my longest ride. The ride was 420 miles.
Its all good if you get away with it.
Well my cousins, Chris and Emily, and my GRANDMOTHER were watchin. Chris wants a motorcycle himself but his parents won'yt let him get one. My grandmother will tell his parents soo not much trouble.
heh, almost squidlyish eh, but at least you got away with it. (this time)  :o :thumb:
One of the things I love most about the GS500 is its forgiving nature. If you had attempted that trick on anything heavier, you probably would have gotten a faceful of dirt. Better luck next time.

Sorry Chris - NO BIKE FOR YOU !!
Glad you kept it vertical.
Yep. Now I know what the "look where your going" thing feels like. Where your eyes focus on something and you go in that direction. My eyes were focusing on their MAILBOX but I broke the focusing.
