I saw these sparkplugs with the electrodes split into a "V"...supposedly they burn the fuel/air mix more completely and wear better? Real or bogus? Anyone ever try them?
so the spark travels the path of least resistance.....yeah, you might???? have more surface area....but I doubt it. Still air gap is air gap.
You know if you wrap a $20 fuel magnet to your fuel line and change your driving habits...your fuel economy will go up because your fuel molecules are properly charged and oriented for better fuel combustion.
When I worked around cars prof., we called them "split junk". They seemed to cause more problems than they were worth. I don't know if it was the cars or the drivers, but it seemed like they were at the root of many running issues. I've never used them in any engine. If you want a similar idea in a better format, get the "Rapidfire" plug by AC Delco that matches the plug you use. I've seen them used in cars(not in a bike yet), and have seen the difference. If you really have cash to burn, find an Iridium plug(by NGK) to match what you are using now. I put them in my car last year, and the gas mileage went up(same driving habits), and the spark knock went away.
This is just what I have Personally seen in cars, I'm just now starting to tweak bikes.
