So I'm riding on my bike through my town down a main drag where everyone cruises. A couple of bigger sportbikes pulled up behind me at a light. I couldn't tell for sure what they were, but neither rider was in any type of gear or helmets, and the one to my left had a passenger. Well about three blocks past the light, I hear a bike screaming up behind me on my left (I'm in the left lane on a two four lane road). Anyway, I look to my left just in time to see one rider fly by standing up riding a wheelie at about 70mph down the double-yellow. Then before I knew it, I was getting passed on the right by the other rider with a passenger who split the lane between me and a car in the right lane. I don't know if they were trying to impress me or what, but I just thought they were idiots. That is the type of thing that gives us all a bad name. Earlier that same day a rider was killed doing the same thing only two blocks over. He rode a high-speed wheelie right into a 75 year old woman in a lexus. What a waste. Just wanted to vent a little.

Yeah, those Lexii are nice cars :?
I've also noticed that squids tend to get squiddlier when passed by normal motorcylists.
Just dumbasses.
Not comfortable with their cc to wang ratio.
Well put bbanjo.
huh-huh- he said c.c. to wang ratio, that's cool...
my sig says it all
Squids suck! I've seen plenty of idiots like that around here, though most of them either lack the skill or have the brain capacity to realize that wheelies are stupid. As to the whole lane splitting thing, I'm sure plenty of us are guilty of doing that at least once or twice... At least... I know that I am.
