I'm writing this on my new Palm Treo 300 handheld phone/pocket pc. Pretty cool, eh?
Now I can keep up with what's going on next month when I'm in the field.
Hey Jonh - How about a version of the BBS optimised for ity bity screens? :)
hehe... i am the proud owner of a treo 600. when they come out with one that has a REAL camera and GPS built in, i'll be super happy.
Didn't like the blackberry??
I know it's a monthly payment - plus those things use spoofing which is bad.
Palms are easier to support - good choice
Well I have a Toshiba E550G with a huge 4" screen 400 mhz.....
At school, I can attach my wireless card and portable keyboard and can really get er done.
I have taken many notes on it, instead of lugging my laptop around.
When I had my accident I had the PDA and keyboard in my backpack....neither were injured!
oh yeah, make sure you pick up a progam called pdanet. it let's you hook up your phone to your computer and use your phones data service for your computer's internet connection. it's like $35 and well worth it.

Depends on the carrier. With SprintPCS you don't need any extra software to use your cell phone as a modem (even though this practice is discouraged and can get you a nasty bill or disconnected service). And Free N&W minutes seldom apply to data services - you are usually charged by the kb transfered . Check with your carrier to be sure.
