hello
i need some information about the electric lights
at the combination meter, the 2 yellow lights are not
working .. my gs is 3 years old & it seems very odd
to me that this 2 lamps have burned after only 3 years ...
can some one give me advise ?
Uh? Combination meter? Yellow lights?
The only yellow (sort of) lights I have on my GS are the turn indicators.
Is this some local specialty, or are you talking about the (white) illuminations of the speedometer / tachometer?

& i realy dont know what can i do ....
OK, three years life for those is a little bit short. you may want to check out the the LED modification done by several folks here on the board (discussed in the topic LEDs somewhere close to the top.)
If you are intimidated by all the disassembly required, just exchange the bulbs. That's a lot easier, as these can just be pulled out of the housing with their rubber boots.
The guages backlighting OK 3 years isn't that bad, they are on all the time Remember that.
But The guages are easy to take out of the housing and swap bulbs. The tach is held in by the 2 8mm or is that 7mm acorn nuts under the housing. Remove those and its going to lift out, OK undo the cables at the meter as well, then the thing lifts out, the rubber plug with the 2 wires has the bulb, and you pull it out of the housing and pull the bulb out from that rubber socket, and put a new one in. The speedo is the same but for 1 additional step, remove the trip meter reset knob with a eyeglass screwdriver, phillips head... and the rest is the same.
Cool.
