Title: How much should #40 pilot jets cost ?
Post by: Ed_in_Az on June 11, 2004, 11:13:01 AM
I think I just got robbed :o by Chaparral, on-line. Their phone guy quoted $12 each. He said the non-bleeders were expensive. :?  Everthing else on the order was normal pricing. Main jets were cheap. I'm doing the K&N drop in with no restrictor. :nono: Guess I'll have to wait until I get the invoice to see if they corrected the price. :dunno:

Must have more power.
Title: Bandit

Biker Bandit has them for $10 for 4... I paid $12 for 4 cos I didn't want to pay biker bandit's $10 shipping. Oh I think Biker bandit didn't have them in stock... and they didn't have a bunch of things I have tried to buy from them in the last few months. In AZ, Did you try cycle gear... they are cool.
Cool.
Srinath.

Thanks, Srinath. Either they will correct their mistake on the invoice or not. Since they weren't in stock the pilots have to be ordered. Maybe a $ difference will appear. Or, I paid 4x too much. :x

Chaparral just called back. :) The pilots will be $14.49. Not so much of a robbery. :thumb:

i paid 10 total for my two pilots and two mains.  40 nonbleeders, and 150 mains.

Probalby would have been more, but the guy at my shop said he'd keep the other two pilots and mains, so i guess i got lucky.
