Title: problem with tach and update on clip-ons
Post by: GRU on June 15, 2004, 11:49:15 AM
well i finaly got my insurance and went for a ride with some sportbike friends...clip-ons felt very nice, my wrists didn't hurt after about 30 miles and no other problems....anyway, the problem is that the tach keeps on jumping all the time when im cruising.....i can ride at the same speed at about 7000 rpm but the needle with go up to 8 and then come back to 7000, sometimes go to 6000 rpm but i'm doing the same speed....i checked the cable and it didn't feel like it was loose.....would it be something internal or?

Same here-be carefull w/pliers, they snap real easy....Although if you need an excuse for a shiny new throttle cable...
