Title: hose routings
Post by: aplitz on June 15, 2004, 10:53:07 PM
I did a search, but couldn't come up with an answer.  Does anyone know the fuel and vaccuum hose routing for the '01+ bikes.  I'm having trouble with my bike and want to rule out wayward hoses as a cause.  I took a look at an '04 at the dealer, but with the stock airbox and the slightly different carbs I couldn't get a good diagram.  Thanks for any info you can lend.

Aaron

Dunno if it's different for the 01 bikes but this is from Kerry's page:

Yeah, I found that on his page, but '01+ is different.  Thanks anyway.

I took off the airbox a while back - but the diagram looks pretty much like the hoses on my '01 before I did -  I don't see the breather hose from the top of the valve cover to the air filter box on the diagram though - If you have a California model you will have a charcoal canister and a hose or two extras well.

It's there, but only a short piece of it is shown - connected to the upper left of the airbox in the diagram.  (Valve cover connection not depicted.)  That hose isn't "colored in" like the rest of them....
