Post by: jake42 on June 16, 2004, 10:04:42 AM
Looking to get anew chain and sprockets soon. Found these on Denis Kirk.  Bike Bandit didnt' have any 15t fronts in stock.  Any suggestions.

Not sure - did you look through my Chain & Sprockets (http://www.bbburma.net/Documents/GS500_Chains&Sprockets.txt) compilation yet?

I would steer clear of the Sprocket Specialists stuff unless you have an '89-'93.  I replaced the stock sprocket on my '99 with a (shoulder-less) Sprocket Specialists unit and replaced IT with a JT Sprockets unit as soon as I got back from the long trip I was on.  I suppose I could have added a couple washers to take the place of the missing shoulder, but ... I was still new at this stuff then.  ;)

EDIT: Changed link from sisna.com to bbburma.net
