i finally figured out this posting pics thing. so here it is.
this is the conclusion to my previous thread..."ouch man, ouch is all i got ta say" check it out for the full story.
this is all that happened to my bike(scratched up engine case). i am glad the engine case was already wrecked by the previous owner. that softens the blow. i actually had the parts to fix it on order previous to the wheelie mishap. right now i have a band-aid on it.

and here is my fore arm rash and busted up fingers...

Below... side by side. healthy on left, gnarly on right.

I see them. Not enough gore, though. Next time really mess yourself up good. J/K I am glad you and your ride will be fine.

Passive 357, how did you post the pics? I haven't figured it out yet...
you need to have them uploaded somewhere. then just use the IMG tag.
it'll say [.img]http://address.of.picture.jpg[./img] (only without the . after each [)
www.uploadit.org :thumb:
What paint did you use on the pipe?
I am glad to see you are not gorey!

You're on the right track with the
IMG tag!
Let's say that you want to display a picture that's already hosted somewhere on the 'Net. For example, the color-changing fuel tank next to the
GStwin.com logo in the top left corner of this page.
First you have to know the URL. Right-click on the picture and click "Properties". Highlight the Address (URL) with your mouse and press Ctrl-C to copy it to the clipboard. Click OK or Cancel to dismiss the Properties window.
While editing your post, click on the
Img button twice to insert both the begin
Img tag and the end
Img tag. (Or, you can type them in if it's faster for you):
[img][/img]Put your cursor in between the two tags and press Ctrl-V to paste the URL:
[img]http://www.gstwins.com/forum/templates/fionefour/images/boardlogo.gif[/img]Now click the Preview button to see if you did everything right:

If you want to post a pic that ISN'T already hosted somewhere on the 'Net, you'll need to find someone / someplace to host it. Try
http://www.uploadit.org or
http://www.photodump.com (you need an account to upload, but not to view).
...yes, and then when you successfully post a pic, Kerry will make fun of you 8)
LOL! Touche!
Come on Pizzle - post some more pictures. 8)
PS - What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be packing for the big trip? I hope you two have a GREAT time. You're going to bring a camera, right? (He says, rubbing his hands together....)
Thanks Kerry ,
I just wanted to post pics every now and then off my hard drive. Sure seems like a lot of work. Wish we had a "browse" button ya know?
Sure would like to ride today.... It's freakin 90 degrees out there. I will melt
I could always ride neeked ;) (southern slang) :bs:
[hijack] We are all packed (except for toiletries). I just have to tie it all to the bikes. [/hijack]

This is my ouchie from running out of road (not leaning enough) on my GS in the Mountains two weeks ago :dunno:
Great pics! I must say that I prefer the first, more scenic one, but don't mind me - I've been known to post skeletal X-ray shots....
Glad to see you got it working! :thumb:
I hope your "ouchies" mend quickly and completely.
(Was that OK, Pizzle? )
The Tank Girl avatar looks like you
Kerry's just being nice cuz you're a gurl

i hope everyone is having fun with the pics posting seminar... now back to me, pay attention to me!!! :nana:
i used a high temp spray paint which i do not recommend. at the very beginning of the pipe where it connects to the engine, it gets too hot and baked off the paint. if you look really closely you will see places that i grinded away rust.
to do it right you need powdercoat or chrome. powdercoat is too expensive for me right now. gimme a break i3randon12, im poor. chrome shops wont chrome a used pipe(at least the ones around here) because of the carbon deposits from exhaust and the chroming process dont work together.

LOL! Well put. After all this IS (well, WAS) your thread. ;)
Maybe you could actually BREAK stuff next time? (Just kidding!)
