Hi folks
The manual says that i have to clean the airfilter (3000 km) I was geeting to the point where i can lift the tank a little. But is it nescessary to disassamble the fuel line ? Or what else should i do to lift the tank enought so i can get the air filter out ?

If I remember correctly, I think you can move the tank enough to get to the filter box without taking off the fuel lines. The first time I did it one of my fuel lines was seized pretty tightly so I gave up and lifted the tank (carefully!) and turned it 90deg, left it resting on the frame.
Be sure you slide the tank backwards from the bars, too. If you look under the front of the tank there is a rubber bushing thing where the tank clamps to the frame. Tank won't come off without slidng it back off the frame. (you said you could move it a little, maybe this is why you can't move it a *lot*) The last time, I removed the tank completely (but I was doing other stuff).
I just used a can of compressed air to blow loose crud off the filter. If it is really dirty, replace it. (Mine was still more white than black and I could feel the compressed air blow through it out the other side so I figured it was alright. Still, I just ordered a stock K&N anyway for about $50 USD, good for 50k miles before cleaning supposedly.
PS Tip for stuck fuel lines, use an old bobby-pin (chic hair things) and slide it in above the fuel line. Working it back and forth and pressing down on it got my line to come free without tearing.

I pulled the tank back as you said, and turned it to rest on the frame. The airfilter wasent really dirty, so i will wait a bit longer next time before cleaning the filter.

When using compressed air to clean out the air filter, make SURE that you only direct compressed air to the "outside" of the filter! (IE the surface surrounded by the metal grating).
Using compressed air on the inside can force any debris even deeper into the filter element, killing breathability. You can tap out any crud that's gathered on the inside, just don't point any compressed air down there.
wait....don't you want to blow from the inside out? so that the debrees would start back out the way they came in?

No.. air flows from the inside of the filter into the airbox. You clean it by blowing from the outside. It sounds counter-intuitive but if you look at how the filter is mounted it makes sense.

The Paper - stock filter can be cleaned sloshing in clean gasoline ... and please dry it fully (2-3 hours in sun) before slapping it back in.

Why not just throw it in the dishwasher with the dry cycle on!? :icon_lol:
