Title: two on freeway
Post by: mes_423 on June 17, 2004, 09:38:29 AM
ive riden with a passeneger more and more and everytime i get better with steering and just overall adjusting to someone elses added weight. but the question is has anyone tried to ride with a passenger on the freeway? i mean the gs can do the freeway, but i worry about stressing the bike. i mean the gs is a bada#$ bike. but just a curious question. :dunno:

Yeah, its no problem.  The wife and I ride through the Sierra Mountains all the time.  I weigh 200 and the old lady ~125, still with no issues.  Good luck ridin' two up.

Actually had it up to 100 with two on it when it was bone stock.  The GS handles 2 up extremely well unless they are both 200+ although I haven't tried that.
