Last night I sold off the 99 gs500 and bought a brand spankin new Fuel Injected 2004 sv650. 50 miles in to the 600 mile breakin time but should have that takin care of soon!
But wanted to thank everyone for help and suggestions to solving problems that have occured with the GS the last couple of years.

sv650 is what i originally wanted. How does it compare to the gs500?
I ended up getting a gs500f for insurance and financial purposes. not to mention learning method :cheers:

Just kidding. I am seriously thinking of the SV650S (with partial fairing), but I'm not real crazy about the choice of colors:


Why doesn't Suzuki get with the program and offer 8) colors like black (universal) or titanium/silver/grey (very hot right now) OR some radical colors like orange (Kawasaki is leading the pack) or red (Ducati)
Also, what would insurance cost for a new bike like this anyways?
