The picture seems to be missing from this thread:
http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=3521.0

I have looked at the thread before (it describes a do-it-yourself $5 carb balancer) but I don't remember enough to build the device.

Does anyone have the picture (or details of how to hook in the aquarium valve)?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info -- I had found one of those videos on the Wiki.  I think I saw enough to construct it now.

Now this and the FAQ thread are even older, and the vids appear to be gone.
Anybody got that aquarium valve carb balancer picture saved?

Save your money and the effort and buy one of these instead.http://www.carbtune.com/. I have tried every carb` balancing method under the sun and nothing, NOTHING gives better results than one of these. I hire mine out for £5 a weekend and its more than paid for itself. They go for buttons on ebay, keep looking and waiting and you will find one.

I eyeball synch em ... however some bikes are much much easier to vacuum synch ... and some others (yamaha maxim series) are impossible to synch via any other method but eyeball.

Carbtune looks great. I'm not in a hurry. Got a 1994 GS500E (purple wheels!!!) to keep my 2000 GZ250 company.
It runs fine, near as I can tell in 18 degrees. Just want to be able to tiinker when the time comes.
