yo, Watcher, maybe either/or?

I had opportunities to get this picture in both cases but didn't want to dominate the game.

Come on, y'all!

OK, assuming its either/or: here is somewhere I have only been by bike!

The Maryhill Loops road, built in 1911, was the first asphalt road in Oregon and was built to show how great roads could be. It is now privately owned and rented out to groups.
I got to ride this road for the first time recently during a cornering technique clinic as part of the 2019 Rally in the Gorge. The clinic had radio-controlled one-way traffic, so ignore the fact that I am crossing the center line.

Bonus points for video:

Next Challenge: A photo of your bike parked on a very steep hill (or the steepest hill or object you can find if you live in a flat area).

Yeah, was thinking the same thing.  I didn't think these would take so long to complete.

Parking a bike ON a steep hill sounds like not the greatest idea.

What about just near a steep hill?

I parked on a steep hill every day for years in Seattle. What is not safe about it? Maybe you have some crazy steep hills around you.

Near a steep hill is fine.

My driveway is a very steep hill. No way I would ever attempt to park a motorcycle on it but I always park near it :) I've seen a lot of motorcycles parked on hills, not sure I trust my transmission and side stand that much.

That hill will have to work!
All the tennis and basketball courts around here are surrounded by chainlink fences so I don't think I could get my bike on to one.

I did a short ride yesterday, weather was nice, high in the low 90s for a change, but I had to get back home and get some work done. Today I went out for a much longer ride, again nice weather, right around 88-91F the whole time, sunny, not a lot of wind. Quite nice. It's officially fall, and fall in TX is glorious. We're not there yet, but getting close.

I did try to get that picture. Problem is the basketball court I was hoping to get in the background was on my route in Bertram TX at what is a historic, in-use school. But it was recess when I went by there, figured someone would call the Bertram PD if they saw some weirdo parking close to the playground full of kids and taking pictures.

So maybe the next challenge.

OMG they just delivered 8 yards of gravel, 5x 1-yard pallets and 3 yards in a pile, right on my driveway. Trick will be getting my bike within photo range of the gravel. Hmm. Let me see what I can do.

and then of course later today and this weekend I have to move all that gravel!

Why does this forum always devolve into conversations about gravel?

Welp, yesterday I moved about 90% of my giant pile of gravel. Might still post the pic with the GS out front of what's left. Maybe it'll be enough.

Remnant of my gravel pile behind the bike. Probably half a yard there.
