This is from the Loudon Classic, Novice Production Twins, aka the EX500 cup...  PTwins bikes are basically bone stock, no mods to the intake/carb/airbox/airfilter/motor/exhaust.  I'm on track with Ultralite Superbike, Thunderbike, and 125GP just to give you an idea of the other machines out there with me.

Kurlon got passed by a gIIIiiirlll, Kurlon got passed by a gIIIiiirlll !!  :icon_lol:

You can really see how much faster are the other bikes, you where really close and reaching in, in the corners, but in the straights the little gs has nothing to give..

Anyway straights are for sissies  :icon_lol:

Thanks for the video Kurlon!

nice pass in the bowl! slam the door on the exit.

For cars there is really only one line there. Also, I miss the old 7-8-9. It is a straightaway now in comparison. I loved clipping curbs thru there at WOT.

The first rider to pass you- what was she(?) riding?

Also, will they let you ride in a Aerostich suit, or does it have to be leather?  :D

That lil red bike that gets by me on the way to 3 was another RS125.  And yes, I got passed by a girl, on a RS125. : )

I'm hoping some improvements in my line, plus some changes to where I'm shifting will help a bit with the power deficit between my GS and the EXs.  I know the GS can out corner them... I just have to actually do it.

I think a couple of the track day orgs will let you run with them in a full 'stich, you'll need a cow hide to race though.

you seemed to have a few good lines in the video, just not 3 laps of continuous solid good lines.

you need to have a die grinder fall down the exhaust ports, maybe. And run all the shims at .001" :)

I was all over the place that first race.  T1 was new, much deeper than the old one, so I was WAY shallow.  Plus I was just off everywhere else as I didn't run practice, so that was my first time on the bike for the weekend.  I cleaned up my act later that day, and was much better Monday, but I forgot to hit record on my last session...

More footage, bit more slicing and dicing in this Novice PTwins race, plus some footage of my new motard.

The GS is slated to spend some time in the garage now, after that race I discovered the left side engine cover was wet with oil... dunno if it's the base gasket, my cam chain tensioner gasket, or something else leaking.

Oh, and my lines are still sloppy, and I can see where I'm late getting back on the gas in a few spots, and WAY early getting off the gas/braking in a couple others.

I thought without practice you did a pretty good job, and that chick who passed you sure looks good in those leathers!  :icon_twisted:

I noticed before she passed you, you were chasing-down a rider on a faster bike.  He was running away from you on the straights, but going into corners you were reeling him in.  You could have passed him several times, but it looked like you are reluctant to share the same piece of blacktop with another rider.  I would be too.

In the second video, great job avoiding that guy who ran you and himself off the track!  Way to keep your eyes open!  :thumb:

Thanks for posting it.  Good job!  :thumb:  Man, I wish there was a track around here...

You should see her with the upper half of her leathers off and just her underarmor on... she's got a better six pack than most gym addicts I know... : )
