Replaced my headers and muffler  :woohoo: no more busted muffler and rusty headers and for those that are interested the pipes off the 89 model are smaller than the pipes off the newer models eg 2008 is much bigger diameter that I have on now

Should also mention that besides the size difference of the header and pipes the muffler outlet is also bigger on the newer model!!

the reason the pipes are bigger is because you have 2 cataylic converters in it and a larger exhaust outlet to stop it from suficating .

Well there you go!

Sounds so much better than it did before with a gaping hole under the heat plate. :icon_lol:

Did you use new gaskets, and smother the bolts in anti seize?
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Gaskets looked mickey mouse and yes I soaked and sprayed the bolts :thumb:

Snapping/stripping exhaust bolts in the head.

Haha thats funny because thats what was going through my head the whole time. Especially the last bolt cause the one in there was such a b!tch to get out but I didnt have to put them back in as the 2008 I bought came with bolts and they were really good and looked like new, especially after I soaked them.
