Wire??

I have a disconnected wire that comes out of the trans next to the clutch cable. Where/what is this wire supposed to be connected to? I am thinking it has something to do with the neutral light as mind does not go off. I also do not have a center stand if that matters (bought that way).

Sounds like neutral switch. Connects to harness under the seat behind/in-the-area-of the battery box.
