My bike is 19 years newer than that one and still has some identical parts on it. Suzuki really didn't touch these things at all did they?

Its different here in OZ. Yes its able to be registered as are all bikes that have a compliance plate.

but a quick spray of black enamel on the gas cap will make that tank look WAYYYYYY better.

I just did that to mine a few days ago.

yep.

heres some photos of the difference.

Dont have an old pic up close prior to the paint tho.


and heres just recently.


Only used duplicolor black enamal spray paint.

FYI tho!!!

Take a small flat head screwdriver and jam some paper under the bottom of the flap where the breather is.
so you dont seal it up with paint and get stuck taking it apart.
