Ellaspede are local here in Brissie and I got a chance to see a couple of their creations in person at the Laverda Concourse earlier this year. They do some nice stuff...

It's almost a perfect bike, and I really want to replicate it, but one thing really distracts me...

Bike is pristine, and beautiful..... But the lower triple is rusty? Come on... :dunno_black:

It doesn't have quite the same attention to detail as the ones I saw earlier this year now that I look closer... they were definitely a lot cleaner. I suspect they built this one to the owner's budget which meant overall looks but no detail.

Let me start with: I like it. Very different idea to use the GS, and I can respect it.

But what is very different than stock? Sure the seat and the rear fender, but I'm not seeing too much work as far as "custom" goes. Not knocking it at all, but it could be pretty easily duplicated by somebody with some effort.

I want the tail off that thing... bad! I always seem to be playing with the idea of cutting this bike up for a cafe/fighter project. But I have to keep telling myself it needs to be stock to sell for any money lol

Check out these mods done to a GS down under.
I think the bike looks very good.
Was hoping they had a Kit.

Totally digging this bike. It's simple and looks very cheap and easy to do. I am tempted to find a cheap GS and attemp it.

How cheap? :dunno_black:
I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

Twisted

How cheap would it be to do or how cheap for the bike?

codajastal

How cheap for the bike. I have a spare :dunno_black:

I really like his instrument cluster, I was thinking about doing something like that cause I have a smaller headlight. I dont know how I would rig the gauges up to drop lower though...
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.

The black 89? How much?

codajastal

How much you wanna spend? I would really like to get my money back but I am open to any serious offer. It is roadworthy and working of course.

I haven't done it on a 500, but usually it is just longer mounting bolts with spacers between the triple clamp and the gauge mounts.

But do you see how his dash lights are still in the same place? That's kinda what I have been aiming for.
