Can you ever get over a family member death?

Interesting post.
I have seen some men distraught by the loss of even a pet dog. I guess that is what makes us "humans".

But in answer to your question:
In my 57 years of life I have never lost anyone (human or otherwise) that particularly upset me for more than a logical mourning period.
However, I'll make the assumption that the early death of one of my children would probably crush me. (hope I never find out)

Yeah 23 years still hits a raw nerve with me sometimes

So now I'm getting addicted to Subway Surfer... score is crap but I'm getting the hang of it slowly... agreed curse on the sneakers and good on the hover board but I keep forgetting to use it... The rocket pack is pretty cool too.

Too much video gaming can make you "cranky"
One must be very careful about over exposure, seizures, convulsions, etc...

I hardly use hoverboards at all. I won't start using them until my score is 500k. if I get to 500k then I figure I'm a possibility of a new high score for me and will begin using them. This way I develop my skills.

Ej - depends on the game, me thinks. Things like Subway Surfers teach quick reflexes  :thumb:

Guy I work with knows that I ride bikes.

Comes up to me and says he tried to start his 2006 VL800 Suzuki cruiser (Volusia/C50) and it went raw-raw <click>.

Told him dead battery.  He said "What's a battery look like?"

Puzzled, I show him a picture on Google of the stock Yuasa.  I then ask how old the battery is.  He then replies that he thinks it's original.  Point him to instructions on how to remove the seat to check/replace the battery in addition to a good dealer who can probably assist him further.

Told him that a battery is like a parachute.  Buy a good one.

Some people have no mechanical abilities.

Yep, similar happened to me at work a little while back.

Go out to go home and find a young fella trying to start his (what looked like) brand new FZ something and it would click and do nothing. He had no idea about the battery etc. so another guy out there ended up giving him a towing guy's number... a few days later the bike was back out there again so I assume he got it sorted  :dunno_black:

Fixing what you ride.
An essay by Electrojake.

Most people are better at one particular thing than anything else.

Some people are amazingly good at just about anything they take an interest in.

And some people... are just plain fuken stupid. (Education has nothing to do with this equation)

I love LPW. My source of all that is worth knowing.  and
