Just as the title implies. Earlier this week I bought a 1994 GS500E on craigslist that was in questionable shape for $250 but I like working with my hands so I figured I'd give it a go. This is the first bike I've ever own and my buddies and I got it to run roughly. I did buy a ton of parts off of a 2002 GS500 and figured some parts might work and some might not. But I got it all for $70 so i figured it was worth the risk. I was thinking it might be worth it if I could just swap the carb from the newer bike onto the older one. If anyone has done anything similar or worked with both in the past I would appreciate any advice or words of wisdom. Thanks.

Yea I have a 95 with an 01/02 carb and the airbox etc etc. I think just the cable I had to mod, all the rest direct fit.
Cool.

Awesome, my friend went up to DFW to take care of all the business while I was in class and won't be back till tomorrow. I can't wait to see what parts we all got. Glad to know that it'll fit. Thanks a ton.
