I'm not dead, just gone far away!
« on: April 07, 2019, 11:22:47 PM »
Greetings, all and sundry! I've been away a long while while getting my life back together. I've had several motorcycles since the Basket-case GS, but now I'm bikeless yet again. I keep my eye out for another GS500E, but nothing in my price range yet.

May the ignition be advanced on a 92 gs?

Is it possible to advance the ignition for 90s bikes? In a hope for a few more hp =) wiki says the diy is for pre-01 models.

Converting 97 gs500e to gs500f?
« Reply #2 on: June 19, 2019, 01:56:31 PM »
So i broke my frame covers for my 97 gs500e and found out they discontinued new frame covers for my model so i was just wondering how hard it would be to convert to gs500f frame covers and what all i would need to do to make it work??

I have a disassembled bike here, 90s I believe. I will probably unpack and get some better photos the next couple of days.
