FS: GS500 Cafe Racer Streetfighter Custom

Sad to let her go, but I just don't ride her often enough.  Time for another person to enjoy this unique creation.

Here's my build thread, and local CL ad in San Francisco.  Asking $3000.  Would love to see it go to a GS Twins forum member.

This started out as a Suzuki GS500, but you'd hardly know by looking at it. Pretty much everything has been worked on it, to create a one-of-a-kind cafe racer. You'll get looks wherever you go, with people asking what kind of Ducati or Triumph you're riding.

The bike has a forgiving power delivery, low weight, and a low seat height to make it a terrific beginner's bike. Yet it's also maneuverable and nimble enough for an advanced rider to throw around the curves of Skyline and Hwy 84.

Here are highlights of stuff on the bike.
- Custom polished and clear coated gas tank
- Custom welded subframe for the tail
- Custom MotoGP style exhaust
- Trail Tech Vapor digital gauge cluster
- Carburetors were re-jetted for a much sportier response
- Upgraded to Yamaha R6 rear shock
- Front forks rebuilt with Sonic Springs for better handling. System currently dialed in for a 160lb rider, but can be adjusted as needed
- Custom CNC rearsets, levers, handlebars
- Custom LED headlights
- Seat is custom fitted from a Ducati Monster. Will also include more traditional cafe racer type seat

The bike originally was a 2007 Suzuki GS500 with 12,800 miles. I've had it for 3 years and put on another 2500 miles or so. These are trustworthy bikes and really simple to work on. There is a terrific GSTwins forum online which is a friendly and tremendously helpful resource.

I paid over $6000 to have this bike built up. Asking $3000 obo. Just want to see it go to a good home where it'll be well loved and ridden.

2007 GS500F Cafe Fighter - cut off the tail, K&N lunchbox, short exhaust, 20/60/147.5 jets, R6 shock, all sorts of other random bits...
