auto center punch?  Guy at the mayhew booth at the iteg show was all about how you could use the other end as a hinge bolt punch,...  Just pull the end and pow, there you go.

I'll call this a winner.

It's a kinetic "entry tool".  Spring in the middle, hold one end against the thing you want to strike, draw the other end back.
The long end can be used to drive out door hinge pins or the pointed end as a glass breaker.
