That is the law and the rights of his family. I am sorry to say we didn't get a chance to get many of his more sentinmental items but I, BrianRC, and Ryan (not sure hes on the boards) grabbed items to be able to help future GSers.

For example,

My dad and I have plans to soon start a NORTH seattle GS Bike Club and BrianRC and Ryan have taken another portion of patricks parts so that we may one day be able to give them to people in need. That's what Patrick would have wanted.

Don't worry we grabbed many things in order to help others like Patrick would've wanted. In fact, if I have extra parts, I will be sending what I collected from Patrick to others asap.

Well done, You are correct in doing so as he would have wanted you to do it for him.
I am not interested in anything you have to say

That is awesome to hear Gorilla! He would definitely approve! I figured the stuff would go up for sale. Just too much for the family to sort though, and tough for someone w/o the mechanical eye to see the value in the GS parts.

I really wish i was closer, I'd be there with auction paddle in my hand for sure

Patrick brother, mike, was very willing to let us have many of the parts with the intention of GIVING them away at some point.

BrianRC, Ryan (patricks neighbor), Ollie (patricks best friend), and I have collected as much as we can that was going to be thrown away. Once we get time we plan to give it all away somehow. We just have to meet and start a count of exactly what we have. You wont believe how many parts he had! We also tried to grab as many pictures of Patrick and adidas stuff he had lying around. We will take pictures and see what we can send and to whom.

I alone cannot make that decision and its a real commitment to get everyone to meet at a certain time of the week at a certain day on a certain hour or so. After that we will start the process of figuring out what to do with it. It will be a group decision though.

I think the best thing to do would be to just keep up trucking like Patrick did, and exchange parts for other parts, or beer/pizza. That way stock/bellies stay full and we can keep the club alive. I really want to know where this estate sale is going on. I would hate to see any one of his bikes (Mainly GS's) go to someone that didnt even know Patrick, let alone the forum. Also, the amount of firearms he had... What is going to happen with all of  them?
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.

Gorilla

I been checking but I don't know how we could find out. Other than getting a hold of patricks brother mike. Which only Brian has

Get ahold of the builder and see ifbtheyll go for it. If I could figure out what I could sell to do it, id bid via proxy and have one of yall stash it and send to me freight collect. Couldnr mortgage house quickly enough though. But I do have to get that 22 revolver I senr to him. Very sentimental to me. Would be a piece id NEVER let go again. Gorilla, you know about the other items I wish for and why :( if you want feel free to relay this information to michael along with my contact information in time for me to save needed funds to make it happen if hes willing. Id be most appreciative. Many thanks my friend. Lets keep the west seattle gs500 club goin Eh?. Even if it wnds up in omaha lol
