Got tired of looking at prev. owner's duct tape.

Now solicitig ideas for getting the Brand New Original Suzuki Engine Emblem firmly attached to the engine cover (right).

The included peel-and-stick is not enough.

I would avoid any glues - one of the guys here at work used a specialist 3M glue which promptly dissolved his paint.. he was not a happy camper..

Seems most of the forums on the net for cars suggest a high grade thin double sided tape 3M red and grey.

I use pressure sensitive, double sided adhesive tape. It has red tread running all through it. Fair warning ... make sure you have it strait before applying pressure to secure it. This stuff is super sticky and I comonly use it to secure carpet trim strips, and all types of automotive trim. It can be found at stores the likes of Lowe's, in flooring section. This stuff will gain adhesion every time pressure is applied so if you need to re-position something do it before applying too much pressure. You will need a heat gun to remove an object properly secured with it. Used alcohol to prep mating surfaces. It holds up well to cold and heat.
