2000 gs5000, seat still clips in and key still works, somewhat easy for someone who likes to fabricate .. let me know what you think and if you have any questions :thumb:

OMG ... that looks both retarded and cool at the same time.
Sheite ... I think its growing on me ... dammit, if I take a hot shower right now, can I stop it from growing on me ...

OK That sissy bar has to go ... I think its adding to the retard and not to the cool side of it.

If you did that - I think its a wee bit more cooler than retarded.

Cool.

Very Cool!!!!
I don't mind the grab handle, but think the lines of the chin spoiler look dumb, it needs to go.
Find some bar end mirrors too  :thumb:

How do you flip to reserve?

That is quite nifty... I like how you kept and modified the tail fairings!  Is that seat comfortable?  I don't think I would mind it (being a chick and all) but it looks like it would squeeze the beans for a fella  :icon_eek:

Looks good. What size tire are you using? Also, is that the stock gs500 rim?

I'm looking at purchasing a katana/bandit rear wheel. If I go up to a 150 rear tire, do you think I should go up to a 120 front tire? I'll be keeping the stock gs front rims of course.

Probably not, but it depends.
If you spend a lot of time on the interstate go for it. It will add some stability and keep you from being blown around quite as much. But the benefits are small and that's about the only benefit; and there are a few negatives such as, higher cost, slower acceleration, slower braking, slower turn in, less ability to change lines mid corner, more bar input required in chicanes, etc.

How does the 160 feel? How much did you have to bend the rear brake bar or did you buy a katana/bandit one?

the 160 feels good and the brake bar is also from a katana

Very cool, while lots of people swap rears this is the first ive seen using the stock rear moved up. I think its a good look, short and stubby

Mine was ignored too but it wasn't nearly as good of a question as the one about switching to reserve!  :icon_razz:
