GS needed some love before the riding season

Well I'm guilty of being a seasonal member on this forum, I hope you'll forgive me. I took the GS out of storage and finally got around to, hopefully, it's last paint job. I also replaced fuel lines with that Tygon (sp?) stuff that goes on really nicely with a heat gun, installed a belly pan, and changed the oil.

I'm also almost finished my 50cal ammo can panniers. I wanted to make a completely bolt-on rack that needed no modifications, could come on and off as one piece and still left room for a passenger to use the rear pegs so it's taking a while to get everything perfect.

Overall, I think it's now completely finished, I've done everything I've wanted to do to it. The little cockroach just won't die!

Very nice lookin' GS, Wagoneer!!!

I see you've got some fancy headlights goin' on there... what kind are they? How did you tidy up all the wires in the front? I'm currently cleaning up all the wiring that used to be crammed into the stock headlight bucket on my GS... untangling them and shortening them etc... man what a mess it was :grumble:

Love that exhaust wrap too :star:

Edit: I found your past thread about them and realized I had already studied it lol!

Actually these headlights are the dominator 2.0 projectors with HID's. I haven't had the dual dominators on for a couple seasons.

I can't really say I did much tucking. I had my tank off at the time so I installed my ballasts on the frame cross bar at the front and cleaned up all the slack with zip ties. There's a ton of space between the cross bar and the tank. It's completely tucked up and out of the way.
