The GS500 might be my next bike

Hello all, my name's Mauro and I'm from Italy.
I've been riding motorcycles since forever and I'm soon moving with my girlfriend.
Making a family means I will have to cut unnecessary expenses and this's where a frugal, yet rugged bike like a GS500 comes in handy.

I currently own 6 motorcycles 3 of which are street legal: a Moto Guzzi, a Vespa and a Kawasaki.

The Moto Guzzi was my father's and it's so sturdy and loyal I will never sell it; the Vespa is cute and I have many memories but Is not so good for long rides two up, and the Kawasaki is way too expensive in terms of spare parts.

I'm checking at the GS's spares on eBay and as I saw you can buy an entire engine for little money I decided the GS might be my next motorcycle.

So I'm here to learn. I will ask a lot!! I've already printed the workshop manual since I do my maintenance by myself. And after owning a Bandit I'm quite fond of the brand so...

Today's trip with the Guzzi  :)

That's a sweet bike!  I hope you pick up a gs too!
