Well its been a very long time since I have been on the forum, I ended up with an SV650 and an SV1000 so over to SVrider I went.

Anyways, after about 16 years I have bought another GS500!

The 2008 GS500F I purchased came with a broken site glass, missing diaphragm and therefore an empty front brake system.

Does anyone have any suggestions to aftermarket or other OEM brake masters/reservoirs that will work ?

Thank you!

Hi there was a thread a few weeks ago, the poster was going to test amazon (or ali express) one, check with them how it worked out.

I think, way back, I made a new one to fit well out of (I think Lexan, same as visors) and glued it in with 24hr epoxy.

If you're looking for a replacement, there's probably some good ones on ebay.

For a replacement piston, I believe the part for the older GS500 will work in the newer reservoirs.

Suzuki no longer sells the part for the newer ones, but I'm pretty sure it's the same part with different part numbers.
