Struggling to find information on this hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a 91 gs that I race and the throttle throw so long it's driving me crazy.
I read the pre 00 throttle assembly cannot work with the r6 tube becuase the stop is too short.
Is an sv650 tube a good option? If so what year should I look for.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

On a side note If anyone else here races their gs I have some questions but they probably deserve their own thread. Thanks again

youn can shim (zip ties??)the part where cable rests, more diameter, shorter throw
they are pretty standard, cant see why any simple one wont work

For grips you can use GSXR/Katana 600/750/1100 89-96 ones. The throttle grip comes with the throttle tube and just drops in place of the stocker. The grips are bigger and have more meat on them and your hands dont hurt and its more of the right size for a large male hand. At a junkyard I usually pay $5-6 for the pair.

ebay sells 3/4 turn tubes as well.

Thank you! I actually ended up getting a 89 katana 600 parts bike. Going to run the front end, rear shock and it's got gold wheels!:thumb:
