The "Did I See You" Thread

If you've seen a GS riding around, or saw one at a shopping center, or whatever, post it here and we'll see if we've had any Close Encounters without knowing...

Sighting 1: The other morning on the way to work. Got passed by an 05 fairing GS on the Cunningham. Followed him all the way to Industrial Ave, Wacol. Around 6am-ish Beeped my horn as he turned off.

Sighting 2: Yesterday: Popped in to a business at Rocklea. Did some work near, what looked like, an 09 faired GS parked next to two other cars and some kind of ramp thing (year could be wrong as I think all the blue/white combo colors on fairings look the same). I was told by one of the forklift drivers the GS belonged to a young tall red haired fellow.

There's a naked GS in Queanbeyan, act. have seen them parked in the carpark for Riverside Plaza twice in the last two weeks, neither time with the owner around though. :(

Sighting one blue gs500 2001+ naked and one yellow gs500f regulary on cowpastre road going north at 7.30am approx.

I saw a naked Gs at the abbey fair at cabulture a couple weeks ago, also for the Ipswich boys the last gs500f has been sold from Westside Honda too.

Westside Honda? You mean, Pro Motorcycles at West Ipswich, right?

If so... finally. That was an 09 model they had there. So they were way past their 90 days shop floor terms.  :cookoo:

Rumor has it they are going under. We shall see.  :dunno_black:

The other week when I was there they had a naked 600 hornet for like under $4k.

While I'm a it, used to see a GS500F parked in the Coles carpark at Ipswich, near the Hogs Breath Cafe side of the carpark.

That's the one it's just up the street from me, they did my single seat plate couple blokes there are good but I seen to find most bike shop blokes are half shitty at the best of times.

Was it an 05 that was always parked on Milton Road just up from the nun in the window?

Spotted one parked in the motorcycle parking bay near the security post at the end of South St, Lytton. At a glance looked like an 09F model.

08F at a business in Bluestone Circuit, Darra?

Popped in today to see if they had any 2011 models yet. No. But they did have a 11th month 2010 model there. Brand spanking. I asked about 2011 models and said it'd probably be a whlie since they had an overstock cause of the drop in sales worldwide. He just denied it and said it would be a few months yet before we sore any (achem, bullsheet). My 4th month 09 model didn't take 7 months to hit the floor.

They also had a new GSR750 there. Got to say, it looks better in person than the pics have it.

The bike at the end of South street I mentioned, I left a note letting him know of this place. Maybe he'll pop in for a visit  :dunno_black:

Purple GS with Suzuki written on the tank. Passed me on Aberdare St, Dinmore - I was heading towards the Cunningham, he was heading towards's the 7/11. We passed near the overpass. Somewhere arounfd 3:30pm today - Friday the 26th Aug.

We exchanged nods.
